I like bikes ...

...and all that comes with them. The 2010 Dirtbag Challenge. I have no idea who won. I do know that last years winner, Turk, did not finish his bike because they ran out of welding wire. Sucks. Great party. I was actually surprised at how many people I knew.

He told me to give him a hand...

...brought me on the bus, and dug out a blacklight from a box. I helped him put it up on the fence outside the Fillmore in SF. Then I went back to the bus and hung out for about an hour or so to stay out of the crowd. Had a great time, miss him.

This could be the reason the bike failed to start.

 

 This is the ground cable from my battery. It's all kinds of bad, and was hanging from a sliver of wire on the frame. Yeah, that'll mess things up.

I just ordered this

The Nightwatch. Horror stories narrated by Peter Lee. 1975. I have been trying to find this since 1985. The copy I used to have was damaged by the heater in a Volkswagen Beetle. The first thing I'm doing when it arrives is making it digital. Psyched.
